Wild Forest Honey

Crystallisation is a sign of purity in raw honey. Glucose in natural honey crystallises over time and this does not mean it has spoiled or been adulterated. To liquefy it, place the closed jar in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes. Commercial honey stays liquid because it is ultra-filtered and heated, which removes the natural particles that trigger crystallisation.

Our Wild Forest Honey is NMR purity tested and FSSAI certified with zero added sugar. For a quick home check, drop a spoon of honey into a glass of water. Pure honey sinks and does not dissolve immediately. Adulterated honey dissolves quickly. Our honey will sink. We share lab reports on request.

Raw honey should not be given to children under 12 months because of the risk of infant botulism. Children above 1 year can have it safely. For adults, the antibacterial and antiviral properties make it useful for immunity building, sore throat relief and as a natural replacement for refined sugar in everyday cooking.

This is completely normal in genuine wild honey. The flavour, colour and thickness depend on which wildflowers the bees were foraging during that particular season. Monsoon batches tend to be darker and earthier. Post-monsoon batches are often lighter and more floral. Variation between batches is proof it is wild and unblended.

Completely fine. Our honey is unfiltered, which means small amounts of bee pollen, wax flakes and occasionally other natural debris from the hive can make it through. These are not contaminants. They are signs that the honey has not been industrially processed. You can strain through a coarse sieve if you prefer a cleaner look, but the debris itself is harmless.
