Super Seed Mix

Our Super Seed Mix contains five seeds: Sunflower Seeds for Vitamin E and selenium, Pumpkin Seeds for zinc, magnesium and plant protein, Flax Seeds for omega-3 ALA and dietary fibre, Chia Seeds for omega-3, calcium and soluble fibre, and Sesame Seeds for calcium, copper and B vitamins. Together they give you a broad micronutrient and antioxidant base in a small daily serving.

Add 1 to 2 tablespoons to your morning smoothie, sprinkle over salads or oatmeal, stir into yogurt or dal, or just eat them raw as a snack. Flax seeds are more bioavailable when lightly crushed or ground before eating. For maximum omega-3 absorption, pair the mix with a healthy fat source like curd or a little ghee.

Our seeds are 100 percent raw and unroasted. Roasting at high temperatures breaks down omega-3 fatty acids, reduces enzymatic activity and degrades heat-sensitive vitamins. We keep them raw so you get the full nutrition. If you prefer a nuttier flavour, lightly toast a small portion yourself in a dry pan on low heat for 2 to 3 minutes.

Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry, dark place. For longer freshness after opening, especially with flax and chia which are high in omega-3, you can refrigerate the container. Always use a dry spoon and close tightly after each use. Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

Seeds and tree nuts are different botanical categories, but cross-reactivity does occur in some people, particularly with sesame. If you have a known tree nut or peanut allergy, check with your doctor before adding this mix to your diet. Sesame allergy specifically is worth being aware of as it is one of the more common seed allergies. The mix does not contain any tree nuts or peanuts.
