A2 Ghee
Rulife A2 ghee is made the way ghee was made before factories: whole milk set into curd, hand-churned into makkhan, then slow-simmered in small batches. That is the bilona method, and it is why this ghee sets grainy rather than smooth, and smells like caramel rather than like nothing at all.
More about our A2 bilona ghee
The milk comes from native Indian cow breeds raised on our farms at Pravim. These breeds carry the A2 beta-casein protein, which is what separates real A2 cow ghee from the generic cow ghee sold in most supermarkets. Nothing is added, nothing is bleached, and no vegetable fat is blended in.
How to tell real bilona ghee
Genuine bilona ghee is granular at room temperature and turns liquid gold in warm weather. Both are normal, and neither is a fault. It should smell nutty and slightly sweet. If your ghee is uniformly smooth and white in every season, it was almost certainly made from cream, not curd.
